Prof. Dr. Asami Tanaka, CDT, NMD, weltweit führender Keramiker, ist Gründer und Präsident des Tanaka Dental Technology Institute.

Einer zahntechnischen Ausbildung mit Meisterabschluss (CDT) folgte eine sechsjährige Forschungstätigkeit an der Tokio Medical & Dental University im Bereich medizinische und zahntechnische Materialien, Schwerpunkt anorganische Materialien (Keramik). Studium der Rechtswissenschaft & Betriebswirtschaft in Japan/USA.

Entwicklung eines effizienten Keramikschichtkonzepts, Weiterentwicklung der Funktionslehre, Entwicklung eines leicht verständlichen Okklusionskonzepts und dessen klinische Anwendung bzw. Umsetzung in gnathologische Keramik, bioenergetische Okklusionslehre, Farbkonzept für Farbnahme und Keramik, minimalinvasive Zahnheilkunde bei VMK-, Vollkeramik- und Zirkonoxid-Restaurationen,

Professor für restaurative Zahnheilkunde und dentale Technologie an der University of Texas in San Antonio, Doktor der Naturheilkunde (NMD), weltweite Lehr- und Referententätigkeit, Inhaber duzender Patente, Mitgliedschaft in zahlreichen Fachgesellschaften, u.a. Vollmitglied AAED (American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry), AAES (American Academy of Equilibration Society), ANMA (American Naturopathic Medical Association).

Die Ergebnisse seiner Forschung und Lehre sind bahn brechende Methoden, Techniken und Arbeitshilfen, die heute als Standards in der restaurativen Zahnheilkunde anerkannt sind und weltweit angewendet werden. Bis heute gelingt es ihm, den Horizont der restaurativen Zahnheilkunde stetig zu erweitern.

His graduation with master degree in dental technology (CDT ) was followed by additional six years in research at Tokio Medical & Dental University in the area of medical and dental materials, focussed on anorganic materials (ceramics), holder of a law degree and a business management degree in Japan/USA.

Pioneer method of efficient ceramic build-up, evolution of gnathological concept, pioneer methologies of occlusion in clinical application, bio-energetic occlusion, colour-concept for determination of tooth-shade and ceramics, less invasive dentistry with PFM, All-Ceramic and Zirconia restorations.

Professor of restorative dentistry and dental technologies at University of Texas at San Antonio, board certified naturopathic physician (NMD), owner of dozens of patents throughout the world, full member of the American academy of esthetic dentistry, American academy of equilibration society, American naturopathic medical association, in great demand as a teacher and lecturer both here and abroad.

The results of his research and education are pioneer methods, techniques and tools which nowadays are approved standards in restorative dentistry, and he continues to expand the horizons of restorative dentistry.
